Severe panic attacks and anxiety

I have been dealing with anxiety for most of my life. Over the last few years I have started to get really bad panic attacks brought on from my anxiety. These panic attacks cause non stop vomiting and nausea for days and on most occasions I have to go to the ER. They most often start in the morning when I wake up and have been nearly impossible for me to control once they start. I can’t find a lot of information online about panic and anxiety causing the vomiting. I was wondering if other people out there get these same type of panic attacks and if anyone had any tips on how to get them under control.

@honestStrawberries4597 Hey I'm glad you reached out! I deal with terrible panic and anxiety attacks too but instead of puking i get really bad body pains and feel extremely weak for a few days. Whenever I'm going through a panic attack I try the 54321 method. Try to think about:

- 5 things you can see

- 4 things you can feel

- 3 things you can hear

- 2 things you can smell

- 1 thing you can taste

I'm not gonna lie the method doesn't really work sometimes for me especially when I experience a really severe panic attack, but it does help ground your anxiety for a while and calm you down.

Also when you're having a panic attack, try saying to yourself that the moment will pass and everything is gonna be alright:)<3
