Feel free to share your story below!
For me, I'm working on feeling less anxious in regards to romantic relationships. It's tough, but we can do it
@PhoenixAsh
Its taken a long time but I have been able to help myself before I get to a really bad panic or anxiety attack, meditation has been the key to my success
@TheAsh That sounds great! I think I should try a bit more of meditation, it seems to be quite good as stress relief
@PhoenixAsh It sure is! I love listening to guided meditation on YouTube

Have been told this book Dr. Rodger Baker 'Understanding Panic Attacks and Overcoming Fear' is a good read.

I have definitely overcome a lot of anxious situations in my life, but I realized that anxiety only produces when you run from the problem at hand. If it was a tough truth, I ask myself and have others ask me if I am in DENIAL about anything or is there an elephant in the room for am I completely ignoring or neglecting something.
After accepting my problems and my situation, I try to find solutions usually by asking other people to listen to my problems, give advice and basically try to make myself heard. That way I could brainstorm a solution that would be best for me.
In cases where it is harder to find a direct solution like the loss of a loved one, I tend to always rely on my spirituality and my individualism. I try to meditate, listen to music and reassure myself that everything is ok and try to rationalize certain things like death with irrational thoughts like the afterlife. Although afterlife may not be possible in reality, but I try to think that out of reality there is some way that a deceased loved one is still kept alive.

Good luck with your story. I can personally relate. @PhoenixAsh
Here recently when I feel anxious I walk it off. I literally walking around my fence counting the squares. The more I walk the anxiety calms down and instead counting my problems I'm counting squares.
Together with medication, when I feel a panic attack coming up, I will close my eyes and tell myself repeatedly: this is your body preparing you for a challenge. Anxiety and excitement are the same thing. Just do the best you can and you're good. Then take five deep breaths.
I set small goals for myself daily and accomplish them so that I build up confidence even before I step out of the door. When I feel demotivated, I will think about what I dread to do (housework, exercise) then count 5-4-3-2-1-GO! And just do it.
I am overcoming my social anxiety by getting out of my comfort zone. I started going to conferences, summer programs, greet visitors, speak on the phone for my family (ordering pizza usually), etc. :'DD (I feel so proud hahaha.)
I can not get treatment for it due to my family, but I sincerely hope that I overcome it by the time I graduate from high school (after one year). >~< <3
