Slow but progress I guess
Okay … getting somewhere . After attempting to call an outside of my state crisis line . That didn’t work.
I called back the crisis line I’ve been using, annoyed with them still but finally connected me to someone who would take time to listen to me . Without saying we can’t talk unless your in crisis .
Which in my opinion is ridiculous. I can’t even form words , when I was actually in crisis ( July 2022)
There is always a downside… but at least this person was patient and gave me another resource that I haven’t received already. That’s a first. I’m very persistent with getting help , when I need help. Learning from July , will not take NO or there’s is nothing else we can do type of answer. I hate how slow this is going but work stop advocating for what I need
Oh, wow <3 it's rare that we find someone who just pushes forward regardless of the obstacles and the difficulties the challenges they are facing come with all for the sake of asking for help. I cannot imagine myself doing that and you are so remarkable for doing it, @leannescarlett <3
A lesson I learned from this post is to never stop advocating for what you need. Oftentimes, as we grow older and more mature, we forget that we are all still humans who need to find ways to go for what we need in order to stay healthy or at least, with enough resources and energies to navigate our everyday life. Thank you for reminding me and everyone who can read this that it's okay to not be okay and that we all deserve to prioritize ourselves <3
I am cheering for you! <3 and thank you for sharing this! <3
Thank you very much!
never stop standing up (advocating) for yourself!
i even think out of the state I live in is options now. It’s that bad.
See you are a listener . Can I message you ! Please be patient with my responses… hard to explain. Will make sense if I explain it through chat one on one
Of course 🌹❤️ I look forward to hearing from you @leannescarlett 😊
