Something happened...
Hey guys.
I wanna share a story with you all.
I am an introvert and deal with a lot of anxiety issues. I can't open up to many people about how I feel, so I spend a lot of my time alone, reflecting and thinking.
So one day, I was in class and broke down in tears. My teacher didn't call me out in front of anyone or anything embarrassing like that. She simply took me outside the classroom and allowed me to take a break from class. I opened up to her about what was going on, and she arranged for me to talk to the counselor.
Two weeks later, I'm meeting with this same teacher, and we're discussing ways I can grow in my performance in class. I mentioned that I feel uncomfortable when put on the spot, since my group has three outgoing people who tend to put me on the spot. My teacher said she was thinking of separating our group anyways. She also told me that I can come to her with anything.
If you don't take away anything from this, I wanna leave you with one thing: if you're in school, don't be afraid to open up to someone about your feelings. Chances are, you have a teacher who is compassionate and can relate to you, or even a friend. It's hard for me to find a friend I can truly relate to, so finding a teacher that I can relate with is really helpful.

Thank you for sharing your story! It feels good to be heard, understood and to be helped. It's nice when we run across people who are willing to stop for a moment, take our best interests into consideration and start to restore our faith in humanity.

oh no...
I'm sorry that had to happen to you. Your teacher shouldn't have done that to you. If your school has a guidance counselor maybe you should try talking to them about how you feel? Or maybe talk to a friend? I hope this helps.
Right, nailed it on the head.
It also helps to let your closest friends know that you may be prone to occasional panic attacks. That way you do not feel alone and if you have to step out of the class temporarily, they will be there with you all the way.
@3987362828 try to seek help from your school's counseling office. They will get you in touch hopefully with the things you need to cope, and help you figure out why and your triggers. It is shocking that they haven't become involved yet, I am sorry that you have such a teacher.
