Starting my new job

Hi, so today was my second day at my new retail job today. I was super anxious last night after my first shift, freaking out about all the questions I was asked and worrying that I wouldn't be able to handle it. I have insomnia in general but it was so much worse last night. Today wasn't much better, only working 5 hours I felt exhausted and dead on my feet at the end of my shift, just so anxious to get out of there and go home, but I don't have any friends to talk to or lean on right now so I'm thinking "Is this as good as it gets?" I'm not sure if I'll be able to handle this job but I've been unemployed since May of last year and living with my mom, feeling guilty all the time about not being productive and stupid for not following up with my BFA degree so now all I can do is hope for some retail job. Anyway, just at a loss for what to do, whether I'll be pushing myself too hard to fit this job when it doesn't work and I don't know anything about fabric (I was at the fabric cutting counter for most of my shifts), and whether I can honestly find a more suitable position. Just wish I could work from home or find something which I was passionate about. Help?

@QuirkyMcBard

You can either read about job success and get focused on being productive, or go straight to your superior and ask for constant training on-the-job until you grasp the basics enough to be confident and at ease..

Best wishes..
