Stuck in a place
I am staying at a house becuase it is a convenient distance from an internship that I am doing this summer. The people that I am subletting from have never rented out their space before, as have I never rented before. The problem is that they are super anal retentive and keep on correcting me on things that they feel I an doing wrong or are not as considerate as they could be. These can be anything from when I shower (can not be after 11:00 PM), not cleaning up the kitchen properly, and how often I take down dishes and trash. They comment to me almost every day as to something that they feel I have done wrong and it consistently makes me disinclined to leave my room or interact with them. This is a problem, as I will frequently choose not to eat, as opposed to interact with them. I have been diagnosed with social anxiety and PTSD (a combination that I do not recomend) and their actions react badly with both. I honestly am scared of them going through my room looking for dishes and trash and commenting on my method of blocking out light. I do not want to tell them about my diagnosis, because I am worried that they would view it as me using my diagnosis as a crutch. I am planning on moving out, but am worried that they will say that it is an over reaction, just because I do not want to deal with their "mild requests", and wont change anything.
