Telling a Teacher
Hiya!
I just need some support/tips really.
On Wednesday last week, I told a teacher about my anxiety. They suggested a few things they could do for me, then left it at that.
Today, a teacher came to me and reassured me saying that they would make it as easy as they could for me to do a speech in english for my exams. Then, when I asked what to do in general about my anxiety he said "Ah, that's easy. I'll get back to you on that"
Now I am worrying constantly about what he is going to do for me. Is this normal?

Yes! lol I'm 31 years old .. we never told our teachers things like that! If we were nervous or anxious about a speech or presentation, we still sucked it up and did it! My face always turned bright red and sometimes I'd shake a little in the beginning, but I still did it! Don't blame your anxiety! Focus on the presentation and getting a good grade! Your teacher shouldn't give you any special treatment. You need to learn how to deal with people, seriously. Or you will have more problems in the future. Anxiety is as anxiety does. You should be more worried about the exam and presentation.
@blossombreathe. Good for you, being able to tell your teacher is huge, I am not sure your teacher knew how to respond to you,but sounds like they are willing to help, back when I was in school, (a long time ago ) not alot was discussed about anxiety, so I suffered through, I wouldn't worry, way to go!
