Im sorry you are not feeling well. Tinnitus can sometimes be a symptom of another underlying condition, you might want to make an appointment to have an exam to see if the cause can be determined and, hopefully, resolved. Stress and emotional issues can also aggrivate the condition so try to relax and divert your focus if you can, this may help.

I know how troubling that condition can be I hope you are feeling better soon :)

Also, white noise can sometimes help give some relief for this condition - a fan, "snow" from the tv, when the heater blower is running or perhaps pre- recorded white noise you could listen to online could provide you with enough alternate sound to relieve some of the issue at least enough for you to rest.

Stay positive, it can be worked out :)

@Aero86 Hi I do this as well... and I found out that it is part fo my anxiety. I usually play an old sitcom I'm comfortable with while I do work to keep it out of my ears.

I thought the same thing for years. As it turns out mine is simply a bonus effect of my anxiety. It’s occasionally goes away once in a blue moon when I’m having an extra awesome day.

@Blackberry7180 I hope you are doing better now. I started experiencing tinnitus after taking medication for bursitis in the knee. After some research, I found it was a recognized side effect of the prescribed medication and I was sadly affected. I addressed the audiology island services and was examined there. Fortunately, I visited the doctor in time. So, I stopped taking the pills and received the suggested treatment. Now I don't remember what tinnitus is. So, my advice is to be careful with meds. Have you visited a doctor?

Yes, I was at the doctors. I was not on any medication. It is because of stress and psychological in my case. So unfortunately permanent.
