What If’s
I’m about to start school back up and i’m also a student athlete. I feel like people forget a lot that as an athlete we go through so much and we have mental struggles too. But lately i’ve been so worried about what school I’m going to go to and how I fit there athletic needs. I tend to let a lot of negative what if’s happen in my head between my relationships with friends/family, my future, sports, day to day life activities.
It’s normal to think at all of that when you have a change in your path. Try to pick a school that could accommodate more of those things. Try to put on paper your negative thoughts and change them one by one with positive ones. It will help you a grrat deal! Stay safe and God bless you!

It is okay to feel like this! Just make sure you don't put to much stuff on your plate.
@girlboss14 It's normal to feel worried, although too much worry can cause you alot of distress. As for negatives what if's, try making a list of all the ones you think of, and then write a positive and alternatuve though to it. Take care♡

Hi there! As the others stated, I think it's completely natural to feel this way in your position. I can personally say that going to college was one of the most stressful and hectic points of my life, as there were so many different things on my plate at once. Focusing on things in chunks, rather than looking at the entire picture, might be useful to you. For example, each day getting up and asking yourself: What are the things I need to do today? How much time should I allote to each of those things? Am I making enough time for myself in the midst of class, extracurricular activities, etc.? It's always a little bit stressful at the outset of a semester, but once you get into the swing of things, it gets better. Wishing you the best!
@girlboss14 thank you
