Work and Life Anxiety

Hi! I am JA. I am currently working in a recruitment firm. Now the thing here is I need to call lots of candidates and I seem to be anxious and distant about calls. I also find the work too overwhelming. It is like I am starting from a blank slate with no guidance from my seniors. Like it is your responsibility to just ask what you don’t know and it is all up to you. The gravity of work is inexplainable also the pay is not balanced. You get a very low income for a pile of works with lots of deadlines. The team is good and very kind but the clients abroad are mean and inconsiderate. I get anxious every weekdays from 9am-6pm. I am working beyond work hours to deal with deadlines and there’s really no work-life balance. I want to quit and just resign but every time I do, I get so anxious. What if the work have mean co-workers? What if the pay is high but you compromise your health because mostly it is in night shift? What if it is not work from home? My current work is a work from home because of the pandemic. I really want to work in the government but is that a good choice to make? Will that make me satisfied? Will I enjoy? I don’t know. I just want a stable and a work that doesn’t get me anxious every time I think of it.
