I was just messaging a friend about thier grade cause I was worried about them failing, its an AP class and that stressful. So I offered to send them the correct answers to at least boost their grade a little and I was just sent back an what the hell does that mean? I was confused and hurt cause I only offered to help, i didn't mean any harm but- is it that insignificant to help someone?
It sounds to me like they may have taken it personally? Its great you really want to help but they may be a bit sensitive about it (i.e are you saying I'm going to fail?!)
Maybe they need a bit of breathing space right now x
@courageousPine4844 Oof, I so relate. It sounds like they misinterpreted your intentions. They may have just been looking for support and encouragement and the miscommunication maybe made them feel like you didn't think they could do it on their own.
