it's really hard to find therapy right now. i'm trying to find online therapy that takes my insurance, but it's hard to navigate as a young adult who has no prior experience with insurance. i find it unfair that i'm just left to do this alone, but my dad isn't in my life because i chose to live with my mom (i don't want to be involved with him anyway), and my mom is too busy with work to actually help me. i just sent an email to an online therapy app support thingy so maybe i'll be able to find help soon? unless not i don't know

a therapist is really the only type of person that can help me right now. i try to reach out to my friends, but i find that their advice is not what i need. my mom, again, is too busy for me. i have no one to vent about my health issues with, in a sense of receiving actually helpful advice. i was cut off from my previous therapist back in january, so i've been navigating through this all on my own with no help. im tired of my issues being ignorable to my mom, but i guess she doesn't have a choice with how busy she is. that means i'll have to step up and take care of myself, but i think i need a therapist's help for that. i don't have any independence, and i need someome i can actually get advice and help from. so it's a shame that accessing therapy is so hard. i can't put into words how frustrated i am right now really.

I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way right now. There are a lot of people who are having troubles accessing therapy and feel terribly alone because of it, but know that there are a lot of people who are in the same boat as you: in fact, I myself was in the very same boat not long ago. Take a deep breath. There are a few counseling services that charge on a sliding scale. Perhaps you can google this feature specifically so you can find a place that offers therapy in your area? For example, I did online counseling with Momentum Walk-In Counseling for a while, and they charge very little for a session, meaning you don't have to muck around with insurance.

But good on you for recognizing that you don't have to do this alone! Of course stepping up and taking care of yourself is an important part of life, but you absolutely do not need to feel as though you need to take that journey alone. Life can get really crappy sometimes, and it feels good to know that there's a pair of hands there waiting to lift you up and support you. If you need any more help, please let me know and I'll do my best to support you. Take care <3
