@ahhlo

I can relate to what your saying. Totally. But let me share this with you, keep an eye out for the Bio Tuner, (by Sota). If you have time, look up some posts and Google this, you will find info about it, and then info about where to buy them.

What stood out to me was that I was Googling Social Anxiety Forums, and found this Item on one of those Forums.

I brought mine 2nd hand, and let me tell you, it works!! Having struggled with Social Anxiety all my Life (now 53) and never knowing what it was until 15 years ago or so, I finally found something that did. The Bio Tuner has these little ear clips on what looks like a set of small mobile headphones, (with a USB jack) and you lightly dampen your ear lobes and attach these little earpieces on each ear. You then sit doing whatever it is you need to relax (like gaming or watching TV or the Internet on your Mobile or whatever else) for 20 minutes. The setting dial is best set to 3 or 4 for Anxiety.

The Instructions say to use it for no more than 2 x 20 minute sessions per day, for at least 4 Weeks.

When you read all the Info about it, you will read that it is Electromagnetic Energy, that somehow resets your Brain waves, (not in a bad way). You will notice it may make you sleepy, or fall asleep easier and dream more. I found it definitely helped my Social Anxiety, so much so, that after the first time using it, I went to a busy local Tavern the very next day where I was one of the few Women there, and mingled in a large group of People alone and comfortably for the first time in my Life. Not saying it will work the same or immediately for yourself, you may find it takes longer, but I can guarantee you will notice a marked difference. And this will help.

Don't get me wrong, I still need to use it properly too, like commit to the every day for 4 Weeks thing, but I could see that the results were there and that offered so much hope for the first time in my Life. I hope you can get one to try (maybe even possibly rent one if buying is not possible right now).

I do know that certain Doctors or Health Professionals may hire them out, but you would have to research this in your Country if wanting to go down that Avenue.

Personally, I brought mine 2nd Hand off Ebay.

So I wish you the very best of Luck, and hope that if you get this, it will help, or whatever you do otherwise helps you too.

Kind Regards

I have attached a photo of it. _1641706451.bio tuner.jpg

Hello. I used to experience panic when standing in front of people. I recall in high school standing in front of a class shaking and stuttering my way through presentations. Always being a very quiet kid. Always sat by myself. Fast forward to college, I got a part time job where I had to give short presentations in front of people every week. I got used to it after a while. And got good at it. After afew yards I felt comfortable. And then I got a job where I had to give presentations in front of an auditorium full of people and teach a class 8 hours a day for 4 days a week. I was able to do these things and do them well.

It may be a very different situation that you face, but I wouldn't ever tell you to give up trying to overcome an anxiety. It might take time and might require some exposure but I know fron experience you can turn a thing you're very anxious about into something you might even enjoy. Having the right environnent really helps. Wishing you some future happiness.

I've been thinking about this too. I've just turned 32 and I find it extremely difficult to make friends as I can't be myself around people and constantly over analyse what I have said. I find it excruciating and think it really holds me back in work.
