new anxiety experiences

I don't know that I have ever experienced this particular type of anxiety before. Unless I have, but didn't know it because I had no words for the feeling. ( It might be the second one).

but my routine was disrupted last week, and i had a lot of things that needed to be done that relied on that routine ( i didn't even know i had developed a routine for it), and it caused quite a bit of distress. And while i managed to get all of the necessary things done with no problem, I am still quite anxious about time and my ability to do the next wave, so on and so forth. I was behind in things last week, and so now that I've mostly caught up with responsibilities, I am struggling with the fact that I had to forego all of my pleasure activities in order to do it. And now that the new wave of responsibilities has come, I am still not able to do the things i really want to ( like read the new book i bought.)

On top of that, i am stressing about the people in my life and what they think of me, how my relationships are going, etc. I have been annoyed with small things ( like mess, disorganization) way more than usual. I know that is a trigger of mine, but for the most part I am able to ignore it if it isn't mine.

I feel like overall, there isn't a whole lot more on my plate than there usually is, but i am stressing about it 3x as much. oR with more intensity than normal. It feels like the stakes are higher when they actually aren't. I'm just frustrated that I am having less free time this week than i had originally planned for, and my brain is throwing a little tantrum over it. sigh.

@affableStrings4654

I'm sorry you are struggling, Strings. Feeling overwhelmed is a hard thing to deal with, for sure.
