self hatred
I'm scared of myself. I feel like my weaknesses are what make me hate parts of myself and the worst part is I have no one else to blame but me. I'm stuck in this endless cycle of self-loathing and hatred that I can escape because it is all caused by me. It would be so much easier if my problems were caused by someone else because I could just remove myself but everything is my fault. My biggest abuser is me and I can't escape.
@Butterfly445 It's difficult when we, ourselves, are our worst enemies. Just this last week, I went through a lot of negative self talk thinking I would never be good enough and it's tiring. I imagine you feel frustration and helplessness because it is exhausting to be one's worst critic. But I do not think we will never be able to escape this cycle. I do not know where your self hatred stems from, but for me, it helps to meditate. I am in no way an expert but it helps to watch and look at my thoughts from an outsider perspective. They're just a jumble of words that I do not have to take so seriously even though in the moment they feel very real and hurtful. I do not know if this will be of help for you, but it may also help just to talk about it.
