Alone
When I was just a teen a man followed through the mall. It scared me to my core. I did not know how bad it me scared until I noticed I felt fear when I was alone. I didn't even like having to stay home alone. On top of this I did not trust anyone. I did not make friends easily at all. I still have these feelings of fear and distrust, but it was gotten better.

Hey there,
I'm sorry you have been throught this, and let me tell you that it does sound very much like a scary experience, even for me, and I'm hitting 40!
Right now, if I were in your shoes, I'd be looking at ways to tackle the impact this has had on me, perhaps talk things over with family and friends, see if you can set some small exercises to improve your anxieties of being alone, there's nothing worse than being scared sweetheart, with the help and support from your loved ones, I pretty confident you can get through this.
Take care sweetheart, and very best of luck to you
@Jessica80 I am glad that you have reached out! That is a huge step, proud of you for that! I an understand how that situation has brought fear into your life, especially to be alone. Speaking with loved ones, friends or a therapist can help alot. The growth path steps, mindfulness exercises and self help guides are very helpful :). I hope is well now and we are always here for you if you need to chat.
