Hey guys, so this is something that got stuck in my mind all of last year and only just now did I think about it again. I know it's irrational since I'm actually pretty excited for the future since I'll be getting my first ever job over the summer hopefully. All of last year due to a lot of pressure from someone who'em I've mentioned a lot on here since they were the main reason I came here, to begin with. The fear was something that was pushed onto me from them calling me "lazy" and that I "needed to work someday" despite the fact I was 3 years younger than him (He was 16 at the time). I feared from how he seemed to view it that whenever I would get a job that if it wasn't perfect right off the bat that I would just be "Wasting my life away in there" and "You don't deserve that!" It really got to me and I just now remembered it. I know now how stupid that logic was and is still though I figured I'd vent it here to get it off my brain. Thank you for letting me vent here guys.

I am glad that you have this space to vent! Sorry to hear that you had to deal with someone pressuring you to get a job like that, its not always easy to deal with for sure but the truth is we all grow and develop at different stages, some of us may be ready to get a job sooner than others but that by no means makes you lazy! Getting a job can be a lot of work and time, and should be done when we can truly spend that time and energry on it! Be sure you are asking yourself if you are ready and if this is what you want!

It is good that you are feeling free to vent here. Sometimes thats all we need to, to feel better.

It's great that you feel free to vent here! :) It's sometimes the only cure we need actually.

There's no such thing as perfection. And honestly if they was, wouldn't it be boring? You would have no place to improve

That person seems rather rude honestly. I think we can both agree that person isn't perfect right?

Wheather you got a job later in life or earlier (like is the case) doesn't make you better or worst than the rest of people.

But you know what makes you? An awesome human being! Working hard and taking care of your life! :)
