Loss of muscle control due to anxiety
I just want to know if someone's experienced anything similar? So I've been to lots of doctors and I know this is a rare case, but I'm feeling really alone in this and i just want to know if anyone has experienced something similar and been able to recover? Last year I started to notice some loss in facial muscle. It started with not quite being able to smile at times. Now it's progressed to all over my body including inability to speak or hold my hand open, or even lift my arms up at time. I can no longer hang out with people coz I just can talk, eat, smile, i just loose all ability to control my muscles. Doctors have concluded that comes from social anxiety and in simple terms, Ive basically stressed my self out so much over the years that now my brain just short circuits whenever i slightly get anxious. It feels like at this point no one knows how to help and I may never be able to fix it. I can't find anything on the internet, I just want to know if anyone can relate and is there any hope of recovery (i am on anti depressants now but they don't seem to be helping). Sorry for the long passage
@ivoryBlueberry3931 If anxiety could be a cause behind it, then it makes sense to find ways to deal with that anxiety. How have been your days lately?
