Pretty bad situation
I'm suffering, both physically and mentally, but I don't know how to describe it in words. It seems like I can't find pleasure with anything. Is this even anxiety? I'm not sure.
This happens at least once everyday. I literally can't do anything apart from sleeping or just crying. I don't know what else to say...
Please help me...
@goldenApple3517 I'm sorry that you're feeling this way. It sounds like my days when I first started grieving after my grandmother died a few months ago. All day everyday I was crying until I fell asleep and waking up again to restart the cycle. It was a terrible time and even now I still find myself oversleeping and getting emotional.
I have found that distractions are the best instant fix for these moments (but it isn't a permanent fix so you can't rely on them too heavily). In my situation, I had a few different logic games on my phone (sudoku, kenken, nanograms, einstein's riddle, a cute game called lyfoes) These are the games that you need to think through in order to pass. You can't just play mindlessly and expect to complete the puzzle. It's difficult to think about the game and think about what's making you sad at the same time. Maybe you'll find something else works best for you.
Again, this isn't a permanent fix. Not properly dealing with these problems and using distractions all the time is how addictions get started. Instead they should be used in moderation so you can continue to fulfil daily responsibilies and live a functioning life. It's good to get ourselves out of an emotional spiral but anxiety or depression symptoms need to be worked on actively so you can overcome them. Go make an appointment with your doctor, get a referal to speak with a professional, try journaling to practice better expressing yourself, seek support on 7 cups, talk to people in your life, etc.
I hope this helps and I hope that you start feeling better soon.
