Social anxiety at work?

Does anyone else have a very social job and find that it drains you by the end of the day? I find that I am dreading going to work just because of all the expected social interaction. I haven't figured out yet how to avoid the dread feeling, there's no escaping it. Any tips would be helpful!

For context, I work in the medical field so I'm working with patients all day. I want to make a positive impression on them, which is hard when you're dealing with sociel anxiety lol.

@DarkSamus I can appreciate how you feel. I also work in the medical field. I have found guided meditation has helped me immensely. Also simple yoga steps have worked as well. I realize working with patients all day can be exhausting. I try to take a few minutes for myself by going anywhere there are no people and closing my eyes and taking deep breaths. I find just by being alone for that small amount of time can cause the anxiety I have over interacting with co-workers and patients to lessen to the point that I can return to my job. Working in a medical field has its own issues that may be different from the anxiety one feels at home. Please hang in there and know I am with you on this journey to lessen the social anxiety we feel every day. Xandiaheart
