I got a punching bag for this exact reason. Rage Against The Machine and some gloves. Wear yourself out, feel like a Bada$$ and no one gets hurt. Possible solution. I often think physical rage is the result of physical restlessness. Exercise can help you work out complex feelings. Once your body is tired you can focus on your emotional point of view without the need to hit someone.
