Community (Vent in my own language)
We build community though actions taken within our lives.
Have been contemplating my own thoughts into knives
Wondering if anyone has cheese?
What is the normal way of expressing this?
The heavy coat of performative conversation
Keeps us in a sitcom
Does anyone know, how to sharpen words
Does anyone like speaking freely and building quickly
Add their nose print to an old window, seeking specters
In long quiet houses on plain looking streets?
There is life where we avoid, is it from reason or reluctance?

I think the part about "performative conversations" really caught my attention. It's strange how you can have an entire universe of thoughts in your head, yet find yourself struggling to find the right doorway into a conversation.
And I don't think it's always about what we want to say, but how we want to say it, too. Sometimes you have a certain rhythm to the way you think or a particular way of expressing yourself that feels perfectly natural to you, but might seem a little out of place in everyday conversations, yk?
It makes me wonder how often we leave entire parts of ourselves untranslated just to fit into the rhythm of a conversation. When was the last time any of us had a conversation that didn't feel like taking turns playing our parts, but actually unfolded in a way we enjoyed, about something we'd been carrying around in our heads for a while?
