How to connect with very hyper children
How do I, who gets overstimulated with loud screaming and craziness, connect with my step kids who cant sit still or use inside voices. I wish I could have fun with them but I just cant handle how they play fast and loudly.

That's alot and very overland I admire your honesty as it's not easy to always admit we struggle.
Especially when it comes to kids.
But it's human.
And it's not easy.
I think it's important to realise it's not about perfection.
It's not about being able to control every moment.
Some days a movie is what works.
Other days it is about going out and fresh air and tiring them out.
It's not about being the perfect parent but one who is trying their best, and you might do some things wrong, but you'll do a hundred right 🩷
