I wish I wouldn't get judged for this

I feel weird going out into public with a stuffie (stuffed animal/plushie) with everyone looking at me like im weird. It's something that helps me with my attachment issues (since I get very attached to stuffed animals) anxiety my stims even sometimes or just when I age regress it all helps me so much. And yet it makes me feel like i'm the weirdo since I'm 16 and carry around a stuffed bunny plushie...

I wish the world wasn't so judgemental - but remember this, most people who judge will be people who serve no importantance to your life. A lot of people are understanding of it, and most of those who aren't, after an explanation they often then understand. Having a stuffie and taking it out with you isn't weird, isn't bad, isn't something to be ashamed of. It's a coping mechanism, and serves you positive benefits and healthy ways to manage anxiety. Try to see it as a positive no matter what other people may or may not think. They're soft, cute, cuddly and can help with self soothing and feeling safer. I use them for comfort sometimes, I know other people who do, and it's totally okay. Whatever helps you cope Is ok and good 💛
