First off, apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I have a few different diagnosis and its easy to mix up my symptoms when trying to identify the root of the problem. I want to get work done but no matter how much i break a task down into little pieces i cant get my mind off the sum of the parts and it makes even the smallest of tasks seem like an insurmountable barrier. I get into these slumps regularly where i am barely able to do the bare minimum of taking care of myself, if even that and i don't know how to get out of them other than just waiting for it to pass. I think it must be my depression and executive dysfunction compounding but awareness of the issue is only the first step and i'm not really sure how to proceed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi there TwilightRanger!
So sorry to hear you feel so low, it sounds like people suffering of depression experience it a lot.
If you want you can also reach out Depression support Community, give it a look HERE
There could be some coping mechanisms to lear, but if you have low energy probably you can really reduce your tasks looking just at those that are in priority.
Self care is really important in those moments.
Do you experience those low moments often? Did you report that to your therapist?
See if something happened in your life that could have triggered it also.
Really hope you can feel a little better soon, sending you good vibes!
