I Feel Like I'm From Another Planet

I'm living in my own world. It's like being in a foreign country with a language you can't speak, unable to understand anyone and unable to be understood. Once in a while I find someone who genuinely understands me, but that hasn't happened in so long. If there was someone in real life who would be willing to look past my peculiarities and see me for who I am, I would probably break down and cry out of gratitude.

I get taken advantage of a lot. People like to play with my emotions because they're bored or cruel and I can't really trust anyone anymore. Maybe people are reaching out to me but I can't tell if they're being honest or not. If there's anyone I can't trust, it's myself. I've been getting sloppy and ignorant lately. I'm letting my dreams slip away from me to pursue some short term pleasure like an addict would. I feel like I'm on some hostile alien world where everything can hurt me. I feel like I need to hide away from everything.
