Don't be afraid to reach out!

Hi everyone,

I thought it was relevant to share with you my story of last month and what it has left me with feeling especially for people who suffer with Bipolar disorder. A relative of mine recently ended her life due to struggling with depression 3 days before Christmas and I was left feeling like I wish I reached out to her more. I would like a positive to come from this heartbreaking news and I wanted you to all know to not be afraid to reach out and keep on reaching out to your 7Cups family as we are all here for you! :)

Sorry to share such negative news but I know she would have wanted to raise awareness. Don't struggle alone and remember there is always someone to listen.

@OceanCounselling

My condolences, Lisa.

Such a time is never easy. I hope you are doing what is necessary to come to terms with the events that have taken place in your life. I think such a mindset is extremely hard to understand, which may perhaps make it harder for us to deal with ourselves. I think reaching out to the community is a very wise decision and is also one that can allow many positive results.

In my eyes, spreading such awareness in the right light has the ability to affect the lives of many, and perhaps may offer a light to those that currently find themselves surrounded by darkness. A positive community with the willingness to help others through a time where one may feel there is no other alternatives may indeed be a key factor in allowing another to find themselves, as well as the path to a happier state of being.

I feel there is no need for an apology for sharing what must be a difficult experience for you with the community. We are happy to have you sharing with us, so please know that you are not alone in such an endeavour. You are a very strong individual for finding the courage to be here.

I wish you all the best,

@RoninSelecta

@OceanCounselling There is a lot of love in this Subcommunity for such loss, and those that are hurting are always welcome to express their pain. I'm glad you're here. I hope you are feeling okay today.
