Hello need support and thoughts please
Hello everyone. I'm new here. I'm trying to gain understanding of why I do what I have done during manic episodes. Why have I lusted after the same person 3 times during 3 different episodes When I'm not in an episode I'm happy with my wife. Needless to say this has wrecked havoc on our lives this past year. I'm lost and need support. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Mania makes one impulsive. Impulsivity makes you do things you wouldn't usually do, such as violent, sexual or other things depending on your situation. Perhaps remove yourself from that situation where you "lust" after another so that issue does not arise once more
Thank you for the insight. I've made it so that I cannot have contact with that person (she usually outreached to me first). I'm trying to pick up the pieces but I'm not sure where to start to heal my relationship, but I'm in therapy twice a week and working hard.
