@wonkyjay1234, Hope you spoke to your doctor. It might be a good idea to ask your doctor to explain further if you are worried about the new medication . And are you attending any theraphy sessions?

Hi Jay, I am just starting seroquel for the first time tonight. Unfortunately I don’t have any advice, just support. We’re in this together. This will be adding to my current meds of Deplin and lamictal. Do you take other meds as well?

I took Seroquel briefly as an add-on after a manic episode and the weight gain and lethargy it caused was extreme. I was stable on depakote and lamictal but my severity of fatty liver made me decide to stay on lamictal alone with added meds if hypomania arises.
