Who else gets hypo/mania almost every Spring? Symptoms? How do you cope? Thanks

definitely. haha i just try not to let myself make new commitments or decisions that i hadn’t expressed interest in prior to the mania, as well as getting outside as frequently as possible. i feel like being in nature grounds you in an existential way, if that makes sense.

I do! Usually hits me at the turn of spring and fall during the daylight savings shift. Since I've become aware of it in the last couple years, I have noticed that around spring and fall I usually go into a deep cleaning/de-cluttering/re-arranging process, or I commit myself to riding the hypomania/mania out by doing a project (last year I made a wire armature puppet and a stop moton video). Directing myself to a creative or a productive outlet usually keeps me busy enough to get tired, and tired enough to sleep enough to keep a full-blown mania at bay.
