Struggling

Hello all. Sorry if the post is a little long. I have bipolar 1 and I have been struggling badly since I had psychosis last week on Thursday. I haven’t been back to work or feeling right. My moods rapidly switch from high energy to the lowest depression I can imagine throughout the day. I feel kind of like inpatient may help me but I have a bipolar family member who is against it, and I don’t want them to be upset with me. I don’t really have anyone to help me through this. I just started new meds two days ago but they won’t kick in for a while and I just can’t handle this suffering anymore. Thank you for reading, any advice or commentary Is welcome.

I'm so sorry you've been feeling this way recently. I guess the only advice I can give is to see a therapist but I know there can be reasons why you may not be able to. (Money, finding one..etc). But try finding something you enjoy or try out different things to figure a hobby that can take your mind off of those negative thoughts. It can give you some mental relief. :)
