i’m 14 years old and i don’t know how to explain what i’m feeling. i feel like i’m struggling with something and i’ve done my research and i think it could be bipolar disorder or depression. i have very very bad mood swings and i’m always feeling down/depressed even when everything is going perfectly. i don’t know how to control my emotions at all. i always feel a type of loneliness. i have talked to my parents about how i’m feeling and all i’ve gotten was a “you’re being dramatic” and basically invalidating everything i’m feeling. i have no one to talk to and i’m stuck about what to do. i want to get help, i’m tired of feeling like this. can someone help me

Talk to your school counselor. Sometimes parents have a hard time seeing the truth because they think they know more than they do... Trust me I'm a parent. I make this mistake all the time. My point is find someone who will listen and can actually help. Bipolar, or depression is not something that should be ignored. Parents should always be there to support there kids, but no one is perfect. Just remember there are people that do want to help you and take you seriously. And if you ever find yourself alone and no one is listening you can always call 911. They will listen and send help.

Of course you can talk to any listener 🙂
