Any advice for feeling like I'm being watched
I tried this last night but I don't know if it uploaded so I'm doing it again. I'm still not sure if this is actually the right place to ask for advice but it's a last resort tbh. I constantly feel like I'm being watched and I don't know who or what it is sometimes they're watching through my eyes but other times they're just standing there watching me like a ghost or something. I only shower in the dark now with a hand towel over me and I get changed under my blankets or a towel so they don't see me naked or anything. I can't talk to my family about this because last time I tried to talk about sh and Ed's they told me I was too young to have anything wrong with me and I was just attention seeking and I'm not totally sure if I can trust my friends to keep it a secret and even if did tell them they mighty think I'm weird. I don't know what to do and I don't want to drive myself "crazy" or something I guess

That sounds awfully uncomfortable, especially when this "observer" is unseen. Besides being seen, what do you feel the consequences could be if you are observed?
I'm reminded of camping. If I'm in an area of woods where I'd expect to have privacy, there's still a chance that someone is watching, maybe even with binoculars. My feeling always has been, if they're invading my privacy, besides seeing a very small (lol) bit of entertainment, what can they do? Even if I knew someone was watching, they've got much more to be embarrassed about than I do, because they're demonstrating some really creepy character. If they're doing it sneakily, that suggests they're afraid of confrontation or exposure themselves.
If I made an effort to be watched, that would be a different story.
To be honest i'm not sure about the consequences of being watched. I guess it goes into how i feel like everyone knows but me sort of like the truman show. I feel like when I'm being watched they'll talk about me and mock me I don't know if that sounds stupid or anything. You're definitely right about them being the creepy ones though lol.

I'm reminded of the child's poem, "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me."
But of course, words hurt plenty of times, but with practice and experience, it can be discovered that words only hurt if we give them permission to.
The same is true for thoughts, such as "what will others think of me?" If it doesn't matter what they think, those thoughts are no longer troubling.
There's a meme going around that says, "what others think of me is none of my business." I don't think that holds true when considering employee evaluations or running for political office, but it kind of does make a point of how inconsequential other people's opinions can be.
One peculiarity of human nature is that very often, when a person acts like they don't care what others think, others tend to seek that person's approval, or find them more interesting or attractive.
So, what are the consequences if you decide not to care about being watched?
I'm sorry you are feeling this way. I'm not sure if this relates to how you are feeling exactly, but has been helpful for me. I have seen different variations portraying the same point. People care more about themselves than they do you or others. Many people including me are guilty of worrying about what other people think, but they really don't care much about you when all is said and done.

I hope this helps!
