Bipolar Vent

I’m currently in the midst of a really low point and I just need some space to vent. It’s been a week of one of the worst lows I’ve ever had with bipolar 2. I’ve been mute, self injured, fought with my family, reached out for help, and joined on here. I feel really alone in my battle with bipolar and I guess I just needed some reassurance that I’m not alone, that my struggles are similar to others, and that I’m not crazy. It’s hard to express to my family the struggles I’m going through even though I got really lucky with my support network. I just feel like I’m behind this glass wall or inside a bubble in my brain and I’m just drowning in it and quite frankly I’m scared. I don’t know how to feel like me again and I’m worried that I never will. But I took the step and told my psychiatrist that my meds are too low and I signed up for therapy so here’s hoping!

@willingSky9585 I'm really sorry you’ve been going through such tough time, and it’s understandable that it feels overwhelming. Bipolar 2 can be really difficult to manage, especially when you’re dealing with the lows. I think it’s a good sign that you’ve already reached out to your psychiatrist and have started therapy—that’s a proactive step. I hope you find some clarity in this process, and if nothing else, this space is always here for you to vent or reflect as you need to. Take it day by day—you’ve got this. Take care 💛
