Lonely
It’s been 7 months since i’ve been recovering from psychosis for the 2nd time and inpatient and im so lonely. I’ve lost so many friends i thought would be in my life for a long time, maybe I was naive. I have one good friend but he lives out of state. I’m currently going to college and can manage to get through my assignments and exams. But having no friends or support is getting harder and harder as the days go on. I honestly feel as though everything is my fault and i’ll be alone for the rest of my life. I don’t know what to do to get over this feelings and create a support system outside of my family.

What's your diagnosis?
bipolar 2 and ADHD are the main ones

Look for a DBSA group near you. Hopefully, you can connect there. I am in a similar boat but BiPolar 1, and my social life has suffered greatly. I often think the same in terms of "my whole life" but you have to re-direct and not think like that. Day to day is where you need to keep your head. There is a lot of time in life and it takes time to change/heal. You'll find a way in life with patience.
It took me awhile to have the right people in my life, the right ones will stick around and be there for you! Concentrate on your school instead and breathe, you got this!
