I haven't experienced it myself but my father's bipolar and schizo affective... he used to yell and scream at nothing punch walls, kick open the front door and yell at the neighbors that's weren't there anymore because they moved away from the amount of harassment they got from my dad. He used to say they were going to take me rape me or hide me away or that they were druggies that mocked him and my mom for having a daughter that was ungrateful instead of a son that was perfect, he once heated up a frying pan red hot and stood outside the neighbors empty house for 35 minutes waiting for them to come out and fight him and he did many other things too
-saying God was going to kill him for seeing the demons
-saying that demons were coming
And so much more but im too scared to type more because it's dark out and still to this day because of all the stuff he heard I flinch and get scared paranoid at anytime someone says did you see/hear that because he asked me that all the time so he could say I was insane or stupid for not seeing or hearing it too...
@RorydaWabbit
How did you not encounter it? That sounds scary :(
We love you and we're here to listen <3
*hugs and lots of comfort*
According to my mother, my mother is a medical professional, I'm showing since of possibly being bi polar but im not sure what that means and it's scary to think I might be like the one who hurt me, my father's not a good person even before bi polar or schizo affective disorder he's narrasstistic and an alcoholic so it's scary to think I could act like he does when im older...
I’m sorry :(
Its okay, im hoping I don't have bi polar as meds are expensive and such but I've done extensive research on the disorder over time so I know a lot about how it could effect me and how to know when im experiencing a hypo mania or manic episode so it i do get it hopefully I'll be prepared
Have you thought about making a post asking about others’ experiences with bipolar? Personal experiences might help :)
