Trouble with my teen
I'm bipolar, unmedicated. It's fun lol. But I have 17 year old know it all. He wants to be treated like he's an adult. He works and expects a ride 7 days a week to and from. And he gets off late. Past my bedtime. I've asked him to get himself there once in awhile. And that was wrong of me. He says I'm not a nice mom. Not a good enough mom. He doesn't want me in his business at all so I'm not anymore. I'm too the point of being over it. I feel like his ***. He says I do morning all day and I'm on my phone allot. Which is what my husband says when we fight lol. It felt gross. But it's not true. I work in the home. Clean cook store rubs. I take all 4 kids everywhere they need to be. I'm the only driver so it gets annoying fast. Am I supposed to just do this and not complain. Be everybody's ***. I need help. Ugh

you are a good mom. You are a very big part of your kids growth, Especially in the thankless teenage years. Yes, I think you should handle, giving rides and helping out your family anytime that you can with a good attitude, even though your kids won’t thank you until they turn 25 or so. However., I very strongly take your side when it comes to the importance of your sleep cycle. Your kid needs to save every penny To buy a basic running vehicle, And I think you should provide three months notice or until they turn 18 whichever comes first, that you matter too, your health, your happiness, and You will be off duty except for unplannable emergencies 30 minutes before your preferred bedtime. A parent should work their *** off from the moment they wake up until bedtime. And you should not accept any guilt that you deserve to feel like yourself, and to do that you need a good night sleep 6 nights out of seven.
