intense paranoia + unable to see truth

i have some very intense problems with paranoia at times and not being able to believe people when they tell me something. for a while, i was delusional that my friends were lying to me about actually being my friends. i would make up reasons for why they weren’t, and why they didn’t actually like me, and it led to a lot of isolation and self-hatred. it was hard to break out of this delusion, but i still have a lot of that same paranoia. i just try to ignore it and take what people say at face value, but i’m asking for advice on how to fully sort of, ignore what my brain is trying to tell me. i want to believe what my friends say, and i want to believe that they’re being truthful to me. i just don’t know how.

@scrunchicus

What you've gone through 🥺🌷is  truly a harsh and painful experience. Living with god-bless-god.gifparanoia and those delusions that make you doubt the sincerity of those around you must be utterly exhausting for your soul. This internal struggle, between what your mind tells you and the truth you wish to believe, is an immense challenge. But your very attempt to break free from this cycle, and your sincere desire to trust your friends and see the truth, is clear evidence of your strong will and courage. Remember, this isn't your fault, and what you're feeling is part of an internal battle you're fighting. Your presence here and your sharing of what troubles you opens a door to support and understanding, and we truly appreciate your bravery in expressing such a difficult matter.
