overwhelmed with needing to get a diagnostic
i was telling my psychiatrist about my symptoms and things when i last saw her a little over a month ago, and now she wants me to go to an early intervention center and im so nervous about needing to make an appointment and needing to explain everything over again just to potentially not even get the help i need :/

it’s incredibly tough to open up once, let alone go through it all again with someone new, especially when you’re not even sure if it’ll actually help in the end. that uncertainty can feel heavy and unfair, like you're being asked to drag your whole inner world into the light over and over without any guarantee.
but here’s something i gently want you to hold on to: early intervention centers exist because your experience matters. they’re not there to question your pain — they’re there to catch you early, to try and support you before things get worse. yes, it might be awkward or emotionally tiring at first, but you deserve to be supported in a way that really meets your needs. this step doesn’t mean you're broken — it means you’re brave enough to seek clarity, care, and maybe even peace.
