Just being me
Have you ever been in danger? Some part of myself is hyper attentive against any such danger, and will instantly launch into action if a threat is perceived. You might think this is a good thing, but it's NOT when the reptilian part of your brain triggers.
I hate blackouts, but I thank God my brain still recalls certain details (even if they're hidden from the conscious psyche for a time). It took a trigger moment in my youth to know such things happened: a schoolmate described the day I put someone in the hospital, and although I had no memory of it I DID recall seeing the ambulance leave, and asking my principal why it was there even as I sat in his office. The memory is not gone, but thanks to a friend I was able to recover proof of what I did.
It's really amazing how the brain protects itself, and I hope someone who reads this will be inspired to have faith in themselves; you are more unique than you know.
Psychosis sucks, but you can learn a lot about your personality if you are willing to honestly face yourself.
