My experience with schizophrenia
Hello! I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, they say its not serious but I am barely functioning in day to day life. I genuinely think my medicines are poisonous but somehow I eat them anyway, and my symptoms arent being acknowledged. My thoughts are so disorganized too, and I have this one voice who keeps on arguing and commenting on me on whatever I do, saying i am a bad person and cannot do anything. I also experience a lot of dissociation, possession and loud thoughts experiences, and using my damn metacognition for reality distinguishing, otherwise i just cant, yup, my abilities are weird. Also experiencing a lot of paranoia, mostly about people and random objects. Depression and anxiety makes it worse.

Thank you for your honesty.
Medication can take some time to fully work and settle for us.
It's alot to contend with but I hope with time things get better for you and you get the support that you need 💛

@Amanda84 Thank you!!

A pleasure 💜
@FredF0123 I'm sorry you're experiencing these things. I went through a lot of what you described. I can tell you, it does get better over time. You mentioned you were taking medication. If you don't mind my asking, when did you start taking them? As it can take time for medication to begin working effectively. If you need someone to talk to, you can reach out. I know how hard this can be and just wanted to offer a listening ear if you ever need it one on one.
All the best - Judy
@JudyListens Thank you, well I already completed one month of medication, But I fear a lot in approaching my psychaitrist about this, nothing, i really cant describe, its hard, but i do say i could describe it like something dangerous is going to happen, what if he gives me more poisonous medicines?
