Schizoaffective: My story

After recentlly being diagnosed with schizoaffective dissorder and after being on medication for over a month now, I've come to allot of realizations that the things I was and still am experiencing are not real.

My most difficult symptom is that I always feel like I am being watched or that people are out to get me. I get super distressed and strongly believe people in my life have planted video cameras in my personal belongings and are recording me and/or stalking me, planning to hurt me ect... it gets dark and makes me have panic attacks, the kind that make you hyperventilate. 😞😓

The medication is helping allot and my symptoms are improving every day but I had a difficult day today and wanted to share my story and thoughts. Thank you in advance for any and all support 🙏💕

For me personally I was taking zoloft (ssri) for a while with not much improvement but when my psychiatrist added in the abilify (antipsychotic) it really helped and i feel like both are working well now. You should talk to your primary or a psychiatrist!
