Called off exciting changes!

Called off of work today plus I have tomorrow off.  (They probably think I have a migraine.)

Do I feel bad? Well yes and no. I had a week off previously but the week before things have shifted. New rules were put into place that sent a shock wave through me.  I had an epiphany I can’t stay here anymore. So many coworkers are going to school this year. So I thought I should just get a new job just start off fresh.

I spent my week off resting and filling out job applications.

One coworker suggested a class to me and it sounded perfect. ( I live in a rural area so this is gonna be online class.)

Really though school again? Last time I went I didn’t even get hired for the position I wanted. This is a higher up position so I think it’s perfect. I have to tell myself calling off is okay today. It’s not a reflection of what you’re gonna do in your future endeavor.

I have to rethink everything again well I probably have to keep this job (perhaps I would like to drop to part time) so they can help pay for this school. Plus I think it will help me get hired in faster. ( I believe the stipulation is I have to work a year to pay them back.)

I have a virtual tour of this collage tomorrow and I’m gonna think of some questions to ask. I’m nervous about that. I have that looming on my mind I just need time to think about it.

I have no time to think this job does not give every weekend off. (Only every other.) Sometimes it feels like you have no time to think. You have to hurry up.

I don’t want to lose my benefits I’m not the healthiest. Bad migraines I have to see a neurologist and my depression. I think I have to stick with this position until I can make the switch.

It’s difficult to think about everything when you don’t have precious important time.

You have to force precious important time for yourself. To make these life changing decisions! Thank you for listening. 🩷

@Muse4apoem It sounds like you've been through a lot of internal changes and decision-making lately. Taking time off to reevaluate your career path and explore new opportunities is a brave step forward. It's perfectly okay to feel conflicted and uncertain about these changes, especially when it involves potentially leaving your current job and starting school again.

It's understandable that you're feeling nervous about the virtual tour of the college and the decisions ahead. Taking care of yourself and making these life-changing decisions is a process, and it's okay to take it one step at a time. If you ever need someone to talk to or support you along the way, we're here for you. Take care and best of luck with your future endeavours!
