How To Get To Work
Does anyone have any strategies for getting into work when they don’t want to go to work?

One of my favorite authors, Wilferd a Peterson, wrote The Art of Living. He writes:
" Work brings man to life. Work creates the world that we live in. It is abolishing the concept of work as chains and slavery, and seeing it as freedom to create and build. It is idealizing your work, turning a job into a mission and career. It is discovering the healing powers of work. It is putting the stamp of your unique personality on your work...through work, you express yourself and make a contribution to human progress...going to work as you would go to worship with a prayer of thankfulness and the aspiration to serve. Work is life, and good work is good life."
Now with that being said, do you have the job that you can apply this philosophy too?
I this helps out- Good Luck!
Hello,
I have always loved my job, but I remember getting stationed at a spot that was absolutely miserable. Almost everyone hated me and the feeling was mutual. Not to mention that it wasn’t a safe location because a large chunk of the people there were local and involved in weapons smuggling for the cartel, which I didn’t know about while I was there and I’m glad I didn’t get involved in accidentally. While I was there, I used to think of it as a time to practice my acting. I love community theatres so it was kind of a way for me to bring a hobby to work. I also love to write fiction, so I enjoyed that no one would speak to me and I could spend the day coming up with outlines and ideas for stories to write. I don’t know if you have any hobbies you could translate over to your job, but that helped me.
