How do we keep motivating ourselves at work

It is hard depending on the work ...... if it is something that does not interest you or you do not see a future it is hard to stay motivated by the paycheck..... 

i found when in positions like that i tried to savor the times when i did something well and was recognized ... if i got a real thank you or good job email i kept in a file to be able to see it when i needed to on days when i felt the place / atmosphere etc just were awful. Learning new things skills or people can help get you through a boring or  non- motivating workplace..... as well.
