Male Colleague walks behind me closely
I'm attracted to him and think it maybe mutual. In the past, I considered leaving my job in case we get into trouble but I cannot leave because I'd miss him and feel I'm meant to be here. He helps me a lot, we have eye contact and we get on really well but the thing that puzzles me is this:
My male colleague waits for me to go down the corridor, then quickly tucks in behind my a$$ and walks in step with me but so close that I can feel his body heat. He talks softly and I reply over my shoulder with our faces close. He looks out for me and reaches over me to open doors for me, but he never touches me.
Honestly I love it and have had feelings for him for months. I don't know if he's sniffing me, watching my bum, trying to dominate me? Other times he stares at me intensely from a distance, mainly without smiling. I sent him a text and he did not reply so I don't know if he is playing with me. Help!

This is IMO odd behavior if he is not making a move or answering texts etc....
I would think this is more visible then either of you might think to others in the office as well. in places i worked body language and this type behavior would be noticed. more then messages and texts ever would be.
@toughTiger6481 no one else has noticed. He has moved on from following me to dancing with me. We once danced the waltz as another member of staff offered to teach us. HE couldn't hold his frame so we ended up dancing with our stomachs touching and I didn't complain because he felt so good. It's obvious there is a mutual attraction but I don't want to act on it because of work. He has now progressed to bumping into me and letting his arms brush against mine.
I've never felt anyone's arm hairs stand on end against mine before so I know it's him even when he's behind me.
Totally it is flirting and nothing else.
Even I had similar experience at office, at the end I came to know he does this with every girl whoever he likes.
Communication is the key.
If he is not expressing his feelings, it is waste of time.
Guys like a lot to play with girls feelings.
