How do you find motivation in a creative field?
Hey y'all! I'm an artist and you know in this industry if we're not producing we're not getting paid. Things are slow at the shop now that tourist season is over and I know now's the time to grind. But I'm exhausted all the time, and pieces that used to take me a certain amount of time now take double, I can't focus and feel like I need breaks all the time, and promotion on social media is basically a job requirement even though it drains the life out of me. I love my job-- I get paid to draw all day. But by making my only hobby a job I'm suddenly left without anything to decompress. This isn't just a matter of fumbling through some art block when every piece unsold is money I don't have for bills or groceries. It's been a year since I dropped out of college to do this full time and the burnout is real, but it's crunch time and I can't afford to even take a couple days off.
I need a hail mary, any advice is more than appreciated!

I’m also a artist (maybe?) and YouTuber. When I faced the same situation as yours , I tried to slow down and take a rest. Meanwhile, you can try to convert your job to your hobbies again
I'm not quite sure what I say will make sense or if it's realistic. Not an artist myself, but I know some people who love to draw as a hobby. They tend to find inspiration in drawing through exposing themselves to other interests within their daily routines. For example, one lady loves cats, so when she spends time at home with her cat in her arms, her creativity will start to flow in her mind. Others describe it as similar to a writer's block. Changing up their environment and going to new places in nature, will help them discover new inspirations that will allow them let their thoughts run wild~
