Question

This bothers me, but my boss says this "completely professional."

So three times this year, my boss has had to talk to me about minor mistakes I've made. These are things that I was unaware of or just dropped the ball. But all three times, my boss has said something to the effect of, "Well, I gave you a raise, so you should be doing a better job." I'm paraphrasing, but the mention of being paid more (because I have a different job that is contracted for 11 months instead of 10) was brought up. I told her this bothered me and I think it's unnecessary. She claims it's totally professional to bring up my increase in pay. I'm just wondering if that's true. Is that a reasonable/professional thing to do or is it unnecessary?
