So disappointed in myself.
I wanted to move out before I turned 30. I’m turning 30 in about a month and I still can’t afford to move out. My mom won’t even loan me some money. I don’t know what to do and I’m really depressed.
@raccooncutie30 I don't know if you're in the US, but housing prices are absolutely insane these days and you are definitely not alone in facing that as a hardship. I have been renting for 20+ years and it's harder than it's ever been. I don't have a luxury place or anything. Buying a house seems impossible.
Does your mother say why she won't loan you money? If I had a "child" going on 30, I would encourage them to stay home and save up money to buy a house, instead of getting into a rental situation that is very unstable. Landlords will evict you pretty fast these days if you don't keep up.

First of all you need to take a deep breath and understand that being 30 is not the deadline and it’s never too late, now you have to do two things one finding source of income, how? by developing your CV or learning about business and starting your own business and I recommend finding a job and then finding another source of income , second thing you should do is to stop taking money from your family and stop spending too much and that will happen after you make your own money by your hard work so then you will understand the worth of it. Remember it’s never too late but you must start now little by little step by step and never compare your first page to someone’s ten chapter be patient and know that you are now in the The prime of your life you are in your highest energy and power just pull it out.
