Sm I wanted to share

Hello! My names Rosie and I wanted to share something with everyone just for some support and encouragement. So I’ve had bulimia (an over eating/binge disorder) for around 2 years and I’m currently at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been (151 pounds at 5’1) and I decided to finally get help and start recovering. I’ve never told anyone about my struggle other than my doctor. I’ve always been extremely ashamed of my weight and my body but I’ve never been more ashamed when I stared down at my scale this morning. I sat down on the bathroom floor and sobbed into my hands. I sat up and looked at my body into the mirror and felt guilty and disgusted. That was when I decided it was worse than I thought. I panicked and reached out for support and advice and went away for a bit and now I’m trying my hardest to recover. I have no idea what to do because food has always been my form of comfort and security. A lot of my problem was boredom. Any tips on how to concur of control it? I need all the advice I can get. Tough love wouldn’t hurt either.

@Rosiemae927 Hi! I'm so happy you were brave enough to reach out for help! Good Job!👍Finding other hobbies as a form of comfort and security could help. Also creating a food schedule of when you eat and when to not eat could really slim down the amount of food digested. Find other ways to distract yourself away from being bored like maybe spending time with friends or going to an event or activity that can help too!
